About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced part-time diesel mechanic to help maintain and
service our fleet and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking
flexibility, whether currently employed full-time, semi-retired, or looking to supplement
their income. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS

Equipment Serviced
  • Trucks
  • Air compressors
  • Excavators
  • Skid steers
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and fluid checks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Handle minor to moderate repairs
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition
  • Identify when repairs should be outsourced to a shop
  • Note: Major repairs are typically handled by a local shop.
Schedule and Flexibility
  • Work approximately 10–20 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, early mornings, or weekends
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Workload may vary week to week
Requirements
  • Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have own tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
